The Friends of Llandudno Museum

The Friends of Llandudno Museum was formed with the view of promoting, supporting and giving assistance in the improvement of Llandudno Museum which is a registered charity.

Membership of the Friends is open to anyone who has an interest in supporting the work of Llandudno Museum. 

The Friends carry out the following activities:

·         Organising fund-raising events.

·          Provide support and assistance to the Custodian with the day to day operation of the museum.

·         Carry out projects to assist with the maintenance and refurbishment of the structure of the museum.

·         Carry out projects to assist with the maintenance and refurbishment of the museums artefacts and displays.

·         Assist with the organisation of events visits and activities around the objects  of the museum for local people.

·         Assist with the refurbishment of the existing exhibitions and the installation and removal of temporary exhibitions.

·         Have fun and enjoy a positive experience of community involvement and satisfaction in a job well do the development of the museum.

·         An opportunity to learn about the history of Llandudno.

·         A friends news letter

·         Free admission to the museum throughout the year.

·         Helping to preserve Llandudno heritage.
